Receptionist on our arrival was very helpful and it helped that he spoke very good english.

My room smelled terribly of smoke. Language problem in restaurant but did manage to get somewhere. Unfortunately it was not suitable for us as far as location was concerned and we did not have a car.

The hotel is on the highway - rest place near a gas-station. You need a car or taxi to get to/from the hotel to Barcelona. The nearest station of public transport is 30 mins by walk, station Bellaterra.

The hotel had a great location near the highways that go straight to Barcelona city. It offers free parking which is definitely a plus for those who have a car. The staff was friendly and helpful with giving directions and recommendations.

The hotel looked a bit old and outdated in terms of design. The cleanliness of the room and linens could use some improvement.

AS Bellaterra was perfect for our driving trip to Barcelona. We didn't want to drive in the city so took the train into the city (under 2.5 euro each) which is 1/2 mile from the hotel. The town of Bellaterra is quaint and relaxing after a busy tour thru Barcelona. Hotel has free parking and small cafeteria for late night snacks. Dining room wasn't too bad for a hot cook meal. Just off the highway and perfect for Easter week festivities.

Very easy to find, doble windows (the noise from the motorway did not bother us at night). Good for a one night stop.

The room's design (very ugly color for the walls), beds were not very comfortable, the breakfast was on the cafeteria of the service area and very limited (they gave us a cupon and told us to go to the service area).

No breakfast facilities in the hotel restaurant, although to be honest I was aware of this before arrival. The motorway cafe situated right next door and attached to the hotel,did, in fact serve an adequate alternative.
